This elderly hip joint model was designed to provide patients understandable information, e.g. before surgery.
This half size model shows the right hip joint of elderly.
In addition to the external anatomy of the hip joint, this model offers a cross section 3D view of the femoral neck on the basis.
The hip joint model shows the most common femoral fractures, and the typical symptoms of hip joint wear (coxarthrosis or hip osteoarthritis).
