This osteoporosis model is composed of 3 median sectons of lumbar vertebrae with intervertebral discs. For anatomical comparison, the upper section shows a healthy bone structure. The middle section shows an osteoporotic bone structure. The lower section shows an advanced stage of osteoporosis (flattened plates, deformation of bone mass). For a detailed study, the vertebrae can be removed from the stand. The osteoporosis model is valuable teahing material.
